Home/About us
Indian food,
cooked in Sooke.
Sooke Indian Cuisine is a North Indian restaurant on West Coast Road. We cook tandoori dishes, curries, biryani, street food and fresh naan, and we’re open every day from noon to nine.
What we cook
From the tandoor, the curry pot and the chaat stall.
- Tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, malai tikka and tandoori prawns
- Butter chicken, lamb rogan josh and goat curry on the bone
- Biryani, jeera rice and saffron rice
- Samosa chaat, aloo tikki and paapdi chaat
- Naan from the clay oven, plain to stuffed
What we stand for
Six things you can count on.
A real clay tandoor
Tandoori chicken, malai tikka, prawns, paneer and every naan are cooked in our clay oven, not on a flat grill.
Every diet, labelled
69 vegetarian dishes. Gluten-free and dairy-free dishes are marked, and we’ll make vegan and nut-free versions on request.
Five Spice house specials
Our own recipes carry the Five Spice name: the Five Spice tea, the Five Spice naan and the Five Spice palak paneer.
Made for sharing
Indian food is meant for the middle of the table. Order a few dishes, pass them around, and tear the naan.
Catering, any size
Birthdays, weddings, office lunches and family gatherings, cooked from the full menu.
Local to the West Coast
